About Me

Growing up in Chicago with Nigerian parents, life was always an interesting mix of cultures, challenges, and creativity. My deep love for math led me to the Illinois Math and Science Academy, a rigorous boarding school where I learned two important things: how to learn and how having the right support system (or lack of one) can make a huge difference in one’s success.

After surviving years of math and science courses, I realized I was just as interested in understanding how things work in the world around me - why people make decisions, how businesses grow, and what makes a product successful - so I pivoted to studying business management at UIUC. Later, finding myself drawn back to the technical side of things, I decided to specialize in Information Systems and Technology, which led me to a career in tech consulting, where I’ve spent the past few years helping companies optimize their tech platforms and improve digital customer experiences.

But creativity and being multidisciplinary have always been at the core of who I am. Growing up, I explored career paths in fashion design, neuroscience, forensic psychology, and more - each ultimately feeding into my passion for transforming the world around me. Now, I’m channeling that energy into product design, bringing together my love for business, tech, and design - not just to create cool products, but to rethink how retail and fashion, aka “fabric engineering,” can be combined with today’s emerging technology to improve how we interact.

Ultimately, my goal is simple: to build products that solve real problems, spark conversations, and challenge the status quo. With a mindset rooted in growth, inclusivity, and “scrappiness,” I’m always looking for new ways to turn ideas into something tangible, meaningful, and fun.
